The type of information depends on the specific - Extension but may include package tracking numbers, flight information and routes (temporarily and in no case for more than seven days), and certain files you choose to upload. Other types of information necessary to the Extension may be collected but stored only on your computer (i.e., we do not store it on our server). This latter category depends on the specific Extension but may include your astrological sign, your reminders and to-do lists, your recipe search terms and recipes, and your map search queries.
- Information you provide to us. We may collect other types of information that you explicitly provide to us through your use of the Extension, including search terms entered by you within the Extension and associated sites, and any other information provided by you (including your name, telephone number and/or email address) if submitted by you as part of a feedback form, crash report, enhancement suggestion or other communication from you to us. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for a specific Service and permitted by applicable law. Sensitive personal information may include details such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health information, biometric data, or similar protected information.

Automatically-captured information. Apart from the types of information listed above, we automatically collect information from you to optimize the Extension. This includes without limitation, your interaction with the Extensions and their associated websites (e.g. your clicks, impressions, etc.), your user agent, browser information, and certain information we extrapolate therefrom (e.g., your browser language, type, and version, and your OS type and version), and certain install flow events (e.g. the source from where you install the Extension, referring URL and install date).
We may collect technical and usage information, including Extension version, source version, IP address, approximate location such as city, ISP, device type, screen size, browser information, number of searches, search queries, clicks, impressions, and event dates/times. Where this information can identify or reasonably be linked to a user, browser, device, or installation, we treat it as personal data. Where information is properly anonymized so that it can no longer identify or be linked to a user, we may use it for analytics, reporting, research, product improvement, security, and business purposes. - We also collect identifiers that we or our partners associate with your browser or device to help us provide the Services, such as:
- Cookie IDs or other user IDs that are specific to your web browser, but do not directly identify you. (You can learn more about cookies here.) We use cookie IDs or similar assigned identifiers that are placed on your browser or device by us, by websites that use the Services, or by other partners to make sure the same device does not see the same advertisement too many times. We may also use cookie IDs to recognize your device or browser if you have visited our website, or the website of one of our content partners, before. We also use the information about your visits to web pages which we receive from cookies to help us understand how the Services are used and improve the Services.
- Click IDs, ids that are added to your browser when you click on an advertisement. We use click IDs to measure and report on the number of people who engage with the Services so that we can determine how effectively we and our advertisers communicate with our users.

3. What we do with the information we process.

4. Providing your information to others.
- We may disclose your information to third parties where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect vital interests, establish or defend legal claims, provide the core features of the Extension, prevent or investigate spam, fraud, abuse, security incidents, or unlawful activity, or support a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets. We may also share information with affiliated group companies where they provide services on our behalf, including cloud hosting, infrastructure, technical support, security, and service operations.

- To respond to your feedback/request, resolve your query, or provide technical support, as may be necessary. Your personal information, if provided in such scenarios, will only be used for the reasons listed above
- To prevent, detect, or investigate spam, fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activities
- To ensure compliance with applicable laws
- To analyze the use of the Extension and create internal reports, using anonymized or aggregated user information
- When you install the Extension on Firefox, information related to your search queries is collected by Yahoo to return search results for your query. Yahoo may use this information for its own internal purposes, and its processing of such information is governed by Yahoo’s privacy policy. To support trend monitoring, performance review, and fraud detection for the Extension, Yahoo may share aggregated information with our affiliated group company that provides hosting, cloud infrastructure, and technical operations support on our behalf. This aggregated information is not intended to identify individual users and is not used by us to identify you. We do not control Yahoo’s collection or processing practices, and Yahoo’s practices are governed by its own privacy policy.
5. Retaining and deleting your information.
- We retain your personal information only for as long as we need it.
- We retain the information we receive from advertisers, websites, and their representatives and from business partners for up to a year after we end our business relationships with them unless we have a valid legal reason to retain it longer.
- We retain our first-party cookie information as long as necessary to fulfill its purpose.
- We anonymize IP addresses soon after we collect them where required by applicable law. We retain IP addresses we log and other device information as long as needed for legitimate business purposes.
- We retain aggregated information for reporting and analysis for only for as long as we need it, unless we are legally or contractually required to keep it longer.
- We retain personally identifiable information you provide through business communications as long as our business relationship continues, and in some cases longer if we need to retain it to exercise our legal rights or defend legal claims.
- When we no longer need personal information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, we will delete or anonymize it. If immediate deletion is not possible, such as where information is stored in backup systems, we will securely store it and limit further processing until deletion is possible.
6. Security of your information.
- We use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to help protect the personal information we process from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
- However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. - The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Links, icons, logos, and website titles displayed in our custom search engines are for reference purposes only and do not constitute or imply any endorsement, affiliation, or partnership. Such content may be obtained through publicly available APIs. Users are responsible for reviewing and complying with the applicable privacy policies and terms of use of the respective third-party websites.
9. Personal data of children.
- The Extension is targeted at persons over the age of 18.
- If we have reason to believe that we hold personal data of a person under that age in our databases, we will delete that personal data.

We will only use the information in a verifiable request to verify your identity and process your request (to the extent we are able). We strive to respond to all verifiable requests within fourty five (45) days, though we may take an additional 45 days to respond, in which case we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing.
